Viannet Gonzalez graduated from Simon Rivera High School in 2011 as a recipient of the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation Scholarship. She attended Texas State University where she earned a Bachelors in Business Administration:Marketing. After graduating, Viannet had the opportunity to pursue her career in Marketing by joining Mars Wrigley Confectionary as a Territory Sales Manager in South Texas, where she concentrated on increasing distribution, brand awareness and training new talent. After developing her skills, Viannet moved to New York City to continue to pursue her career with Mars Wrigley Confectionary as a Category Manager. She enjoys traveling to new places, finding new coffee shops and indulging in farmers markets. It’s the nature and adventurous lifestyle she likes most. What keeps her motivated to work at Mars is the company’s initiative to “grow in ways that are good for people, good for the planet and good for the business.” She hopes to become a Mars Ambassador and travel to South America to gain a deeper understanding of cocoa sustainability and the role Mars plays. One word comes to mind when she thinks of her career and life: Passion.
