Anaeli L. Arizmendi, proud graduate of Hanna ECHS - Class of 2018, contracted with the UTRGV Army ROTC for the Officer Training program. This program offers a $5,000 semester scholarship and monthly stipend. Anaeli will graduate UTRGV with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science and will be commissioned as an active duty 2nd Lieutenant for the U.S. Army. Army ROTC is a program of leadership and military skills training. It prepares students for officer responsibilities in the active Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard following graduation or after deferment to attend advanced civilian schooling.
